A STORM SYSTEM WITH A MOIST SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL PRODUCE SNOW OVER
THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS OF UTAH TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY.

...SNOW ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST SATURDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A SNOW
ADVISORY FOR ALL OF THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF UTAH FOR TONIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY.

SNOW WILL SPREAD NORTH ACROSS THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS THIS EVENING.
THIS SNOW WILL TURN HEAVY OVERNIGHT...AND CONTINUE HEAVY AT TIMES
THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. SNOW WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF SATURDAY
AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4-9 INCHES TONIGHT WILL BE FOLLOWED
BY AN ADDITIONAL 3-6 INCHES ON SATURDAY.

TRAVELERS AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN THE NORTHERN UTAH MOUNTAINS
SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS LATER TONIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY. FOR THE LATEST ROAD CONDITIONS
CONTACT THE UTAH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
